Make a Macro Loop

A macro that calls its own name on the last line runs forever. This one line is the reason SWG macros are remembered the way they are — and the reason you should always know how to stop one.

SWG · General50 chars
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/pause 4;
/macro myloop;

Where to paste this

  1. Open Options, choose the Macro tab and click New.
  2. Give the macro a name and an icon — the name is what other macros call it by.
  3. Write commands one per line, ending each with a semicolon.
  4. Use /ui action toolbarSlot00; to press a toolbar button, counting slots from 0.
  5. Finish with /macro yourname; to loop, and drag the macro onto a toolbar slot to start it.
